WVSN’s Mike Asti Appears on Sports Central: Would PSU be an Intriguing Bowl Opponent for WVU?

Now that West Virginia’s regular season is officially over, the focus has shifted to potential bowl matchups for the Mountaineers. One possible scenario could see WVU playing Penn State, a game that has not been played in 28 years but is set to return in 2024.

Mike Asti joined Cory Giger, who runs WVSN’s brother site Nittany Sports Now, on Central PA’s “Sports Central” show to talk about the possibility of WVU and PSU playing in a bowl game and why it would be a game both program’s would be excited about. Asti explains why more pressure would be on Neal Brown and WVU in that potential bowl game.

“Sports Central” airs daily on WRTA 98.5 and 1240 AM.
