Mountaineers in the NFL: Week 14 Review

This week saw 11 ex-West Virginia University football players get on the field for NFL teams, including Tavon Austin — a Mountaineer legend who made his season debut and played in his first game as a Green Bay Packer.

MOUNTINAEERS IN THE NFL:

Carolina Panthers (Broncos 32, Panthers 27)
Rasul Douglas – CB – 4th season – Recorded one solo tackle. He Saw action on 21 defensive plays and three special teams snaps.

Will Grier – QB – 2nd season – Not active

Kenny Robinson – S – 1st season – Not active

Cincinnati Bengals (Cowboys 30, Bengals 7)
Quinton Spain – OG – 6th season – Spain started at right guard. Saw action on all 72 offensive plays and one special teams snap.

Cleveland Browns (Ravens 47, Browns 42)
Karl Joseph – S – 5th season – Started at strong safety in Monday night football. Recorded seven tackles and five solo stops. He saw action on 51 defensive plays and six special teams snaps.

Green Bay Packers (Packers 31, Lions 24)
Tavon Austin – WR – 8th season – Austin saw action on four offensive plays and four special teams snaps in his first game of the season. Had two receptions for eight yards.

Indianapolis Colts (Colts 44, Raiders 27)
Mark Glowinski – OG – 6th season – Started at right guard. Saw action on all 61 offensive plays, while also recording playing time on eight special teams snaps.

Las Vegas Raiders (Colts 44, Raiders 27)
Nick Kwiatkoski – LB – 5th season – Started at middle linebacker and recorded five tackles with two being solo stops. Saw action on 47 defensive plays and nine special teams snaps.
Daryl Worley – CB – 5th season – Signed with the Raiders.

Los Angeles Chargers (Chargers 20, Falcons 17)
Kyzir White – LB – 3rd season – White started at linebacker. Led the Chargers with seven tackles in his first game of the season. Five of those were solo stops. Saw action on 43 defensive plays.

Miami Dolphins (Chiefs 33, Dolphins 27)
Adam Pankey – OT – 4th season – Active but did not play.

New England Patriots (Rams 24, Patriots 3)
Yodny Cajuste – OT – 2nd season – Placed on injured reserve.

New York Jets (Seahawks 40, Jets 3)
Trevon Wesco – TE – 2nd season – Saw action on 12 offensive plays and seven special teams snaps.

San Francisco 49ers (Football Team 23, 49ers 15)
Colton McKivitz – OT – 1st season – Started at right guard. Saw action on all 81 offensive plays and one special teams snap.

Seattle Seahawks (Seahawks 40, Jets 3)
Bruce Irvin  –  LB – 9th season – Tore his ACL in week 2 against the Patriots and was placed on the injured reserve list by the Seahawks.

Geno Smith – QB – 8th season – Saw action on 18 offensive plays in his first game of the season.

Pittsburgh Steelers (Bills 26, Steelers 15)
Wendell Smallwood – RB – 5th season – Placed on Steelers practice squad.

Tennessee Titans (Titans 31, Jaguars 10)
David Long Jr. – LB – 2nd season – Started at inside linebacker. Recorded five tackles with two being solo stops. He saw action on all 71 defensive plays and eight special teams snaps.
