WVU Basketball Falls in KenPom Rankings

WVU Basketball has fallen in the latest update of the KenPom Rankings, going to No. 78 after starting at No. 67.

The ranking is the 13th best out of all Big 12 programs. WVU is behind No. 2 Houston, No. 10 Arizona, No. 12 Iowa State, No. 13 Texas Tech, No. 17 BYU, No. 19 Kansas, No. 21 Baylor, No. 33 Cincinnati, No. 57 Kansas State, No. 70 Oklahoma State, No. 72 UCF and No. 73 Arzona State.

WVU started last season at No. 87 in the KenPom rankings and ended at No. 51.

The Mountaineers are 2-0 with a 70-54 win over Mount Saint Maryโ€™s and a 73-65 win over Campbell.

This season marks the first year of Ross Hodge at the helm of WVU with the program seeing its fourth head coach in as many years.
