Watch: Bob Huggins Discusses Loss to Oklahoma, Rod Thorn Jersey Retirment
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Despite losing to the Oklahoma Sooners, there was still reason to celebrate at the WVU Coliseum Saturday afternoon. Rod Thorn’s number 44 jersey was just the third ever to be retired and hung on the walls in the Coliseum. After discussing his team’s loss to the Oklahoma Sooners, WVU coach Bob Huggins said Thron’s jersey retirement was long overdue and the program does not do enough to honor its past.
