WVU Fan Offers Idea for New Look of Field at Milan Puskar Stadium

To take a brief pause from all of the “sky is falling” talk surrounding the West Virginia football program, a fan offered an interesting idea for a new inverted look for the Mountaineers’ field.

A Twitter user who refers to himself as “Mountaineer Messiah” tweeted a video a completely different style for the field at Milan Puskar Stadium. The video initially shows the current field and then quickly flips to a blue field with a new logo.

On the new hypothetical field, the end zones are yellow (or WVU gold if you prefer) with blue lettering, so the reverse of what’s currently there, and an image of the state of West Virginia sits behind the flying WV logo at the 50-yard line. It even appears this blueprint includes the seats incorporating color too.

By no means is this a report of any indication the field of the Mountaineers is going to change in any way, but it’s just something cool to visualize.
