WVU Football DL recruit Trenton Quinn

In an effort to build relationships with 2026 recruits for next year, the WVU football staff reached out to a rising defensive lineman. West Virginia is now one of several major programs to reach out to Trenton Quinn in recent weeks.

A product of Calhoun High School in Dalton, Ga., Quinn stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 260 pounds. He’s also heard from Wisconsin and North Carolina.

Quinn tells WV Sports Now WVU defensive line coach Andrew Jackson is who he’s been talking to.

Quinn is viewed as an Edge rusher in college, but has experience on offense at tight end as well. He even shows his true athletic ability by playing baseball in high school in addition to football.

Quinn has been named a Defensive Player of the Year and Defensive Lineman of the Year for his area in Georgia already in his career. He’s visited North Carolina a couple times throughout the past year and was also able to spend time at Auburn and Florida.

Showing earth interest in Quinn shows the West Virginia staff is serious about furthering a connection to Georgia players.
