WVU Football Announces Oklahoma Game Time

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — WVU has released the kickoff time for the WVU-Oklahoma game on Sept. 25. Broadcast on ABC, the Mountaineers and Sooners will clash for the 13th time at 7:30 p.m. ET.

This No. 3 Oklahoma team has a storied success rate against the Mountaineers, victorious in all but two of those 12 games. WVU head coach Neal Brown has gone 13-6 in night games during his two seasons at the helm, but with an 0-5 road game streak, entering Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium will be a test for his entire roster.

Last season’s Oklahoma game, set for Dec. 12, was cancelled due to COVID-19, and the Mountaineers are still reeling from the 2019, 52-14 throttling in Norman during Brown’s first season.
