WVU Football Extends Offer to First-Team All-Conference Transfer WR

The second day of this transfer portal window saw the WVU football program extend an offer to a wide receiver who put up big numbers in 2024. Miami (Ohio) transfer wide out Javon “J Smooth” Tracy revealed his West Virginia offer on social media with a picture of Mountaineer legend Tavon Austin.

Tracy posted his WVU offer after also posting one from Florida State. Listed at 6-foot and 206 pounds, Tracy made 57 receptions for 818 yards and scored seven touchdowns for the RedHawks in 2024.

Tracy enjoyed a big spike in production after catching 22 balls for 348 yards and a couples scores in 2023. He was named a first-team All-MAC wide receiver.

With two more years left of eligibility, Tracy already has offers from other programs like Boston College, Iowa State and Pitt.
