2026 three-star offensive lineman Rhett Morris signed with WVU Football on Wednesday, Dec. 3, one of seven offensive linemen expected to lock in with the Mountaineers as part of Early Signing Day.

Morris, who attends Don Bosco Prep in New Jersey, stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 305 pounds according to his X account, and has experience at both center and guard.

He announced his commitment on June 9, 2025, giving him the opportunity to ink with the Mountaineers two months ahead of the rest of his class. Should Morris choose, heโ€™ll also have the option to enroll early at West Virginia, which can provide a key benefit for offensive linemen as they build the strength and size needed to man the trenches at the Division I level.

Morris helped Don Bosco Prep reach New Jerseyโ€™s Non-Public A state championship game this season. The offensive line proved a major area of concern for WVU Football in 2025, so recruits like Morris could play a critical role as the Mountaineers try to improve on their 4-8 record in their first full offseason of head coach Rich Rodriguezโ€™s second stint in Morgantown.

For an idea of the type of player the Mountaineers will get out of Morris, here’s a look at his junior year highlights.
