WVU Football DL recruit Tyreek'e Robinson

The WVU football program is trying to strengthen their defensive line for years to come. And to that end, sent an offer to three-star recruit Tyreek’e Robinson.

A Bradenton, Florida native, Robinson (6-foot-1, 318 pounds) attends Manatee High School as a class of 2024 product. Robinson tweeted about his WVU offer on Friday morning.

Robinson is considered a three-star player by Rivals, 247 Sports and On3.com. He’s ranked among the top 100 in the state by both 247 and Rivals, with his best placement at number 66.

This new offer from the Mountaineers stands as his only offer in the month of May, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have plenty of options. Robinson has 14 offers, including several from major programs like Auburn, Cincinnati, Colorado, Indiana, Louisville, Miami (FL), North Carolina State, Texas, UCF and USC.

West Virginia officially added transfer defensive lineman Tomiwa Durojaiye just a day ago, planning to have him around as an anchor for years to come and lead any incoming recruits. Transfer Tyrin Bradley also committed to transfer to WVU earlier in the month.
