Kentucky DL Transfer Tomiwa Durojaiye Officially Signs with Mountaineers

Tomiwa Durojaiye is officially a Mountaineer. The former Kentucky defensive lineman signed a grant-in-aid to complete his transfer to WVU on Thursday.
Durojaiye ends up signing just a week after announcing his commitment, which came only a couple days removed from his visit to Morgantown. Listed at 6-foot-4 and 278 pounds, Durojaiye has four years of eligibility. He appeared in three games for the Wild Cats during the 2022 season.

The Middletown, Delaware native was classified as a three-star recruit in the 2022 class out of Middletown High School. He ended up picking Kentucky over WVU out of high school.
To put what Durojaiye was thought of as a recruit into perspective, he was ranked as the number 42 defensive end in the nation by Rivals. This is a move about both the present and future of the WVU program.
