WVU Football Offers Highly Coveted 2027 4-Star PA Edge

Staying hot on the recruiting trail, the WVU football staff offered a four-star edge rusher at the start of the weekend.

Top Pennsylvania prospect Abraham Sesay announced his West Virginia offer on Friday. The 6-foot-5, 220-pound Sesay attends Downington East High School in Exton, Pa.

Sesay is ranked among the best recruits in the 2027 class, slotted in as the No. 5 player in his state, the No. 10 edge rusher and No. 79 prospect nationally by 247 Sports.

Sesay already has major offers from big brands like Alabama, Notre Dame, Ohio State, USC and Wisconsin and other Power Four schools like Boston College, Duke, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Northwestern, Ole Miss, Rutgers, Syracuse and several others.

Sesay recently spent time visiting both Nebraska and Ohio State.
