WVU Football Signs 2026 RB Christopher Talley Out of Memphis

The WVU football program has signed 2026 running back Christopher Talley out of Memphis.

Talley announced his commitment live on Instagram on the this past summer’s Fourth of July holiday.

Talley picked West Virginia over Power Four offers from Arkansas, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech and Pitt and even other notable opportunities from Liberty, Memphis, Southern Mississippi, Tulsa and several others.

Listed at 6-foot and 170 pounds, Talley attends Whitehaven High School in Memphis, Tenn.

Talley received an offer from WVU running backs coach Larry Porter in March, ironically soon after Pitt, and then traveled to Morgantown for an official visit in mid June. He also took a recent trip to Georgia Tech.
