The 6-foot-3, 310-pound Grayson comes to West Virginia with two years left of eligibility. He spent the past two seasons with the Gamecocks, playing under Rich Rodriguez in 2024 and Trickett as his position coach in 2025.
Playing in all 14 games two year ago, Grayson had eight starts at right guard and was named to the Conference USA’s All-Freshman team. He also didn’t allow a sack.
In 2025, Grayson again started in all 14 games and was named to the All-Conference first team.
