The West Virginia Mountaineers will finish their 2020 season by playing against a member of the SEC in the 62nd AutoZone Liberty Bowl, the bowl announced Sunday afternoon. The game will be played on Thursday, Dec. 31 in Memphis, Tennessee.

The Mountaineers last played on Dec. 5, a loss to Iowa State. The team’s regular-season finale against Oklahoma scheduled for Dec. 12, was canceled. WVU played in the Liberty Bowl in 2014 against Texas A&M. The Aggies defeated the Mountaineers 45-37.
