WVU Gets VCU on Thursday in Crossover Classic Semifinals

Virginia Commonwealth beat Utah State 85-69 on Wednesday in the first round of the Crossover Classic in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to set up a Thanksgiving semifinal clash with No. 15 West Virginia.

The Rams were led by 23 points from Nah’Shon “Bones” Hyland while Vince Williams chipped in with 15 points and Keyshawn Curry finished with 10 points and a team high six rebounds.

WVU reached the Crossover Classic semifinals with a 79-71 win against South Dakota State on Wednesday.

Thursday’s game between the Mountaineers and VCU is scheduled to tip at 2:30 p.m. with ESPN handling the broadcast.
