WVU Great Pat White Named Quarterbacks Coach at Campbell

The Campbell football team officially announced on Tuesday that former West Virginia quarterback Pat White was named their new quarterbacks coach.

Following a professional career, White has transitioned into the coaching world of football. The Alabama native has been a positions coach at Alcorn State, San Diego Chargers, South Florida and Alabama State over the last few years. White was a quarterbacks coach at Alcorn State, while becoming a running backs coach at USF in 2020. White most recently was the quarterbacks coach at Alabama State this past season.

White played at West Virginia from 2005-09, bringing home four-straight bowl victories during his time as quarterback for the Mountaineers. The two-time Big East Offensive Player of the Year threw for 6,049 yards and 56 touchdowns, while rushing for 4,480 yards and 47 touchdowns in his 49 career games at WVU.

White was inducted into the WVU Sports Hall of Fame in 2018.
