WVU Jumps to No. 11 in New Associated Press Top 25 Men’s Basketball Poll
The West Virginia University men’s basketball team is ranked No. 11 in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 poll, released Monday.
The Mountaineers (3-0) jump four spots this week after taking all three of their games en route to a Crossover Classic tournament championship last week in South Dakota, with wins against South Dakota State, VCU and Western Kentucky.
West Virginia has a busy week of marquee matchups this week with the Mountaineers scheduled to play against No. 1 Gonzaga at the Jimmy V Classic on Wednesday in Indianapolis before another a trip to take on old rival Georgetown on the road in this season’s Big East-Big 12 Challenge.
