WVU makes the cut for versatile Alabama athlete

Yesterday, Pleasant Grove, AL athlete Xavier Hill announced the final six schools he was considering.

Hill chose a diverse range of schools including the Mountaineers, two Big 10 schools in Iowa and Nebraska, Memphis, and a pair of local favorites in Troy and UAB. Shortly after his announcement, DubVNation caught up with Hill to discuss why WVU made his top six.

Hill made it clear early in our interview that the main reason WVU made his final six is that, “they have good coaches” and that he would fit in well on campus in Morgantown. In addition, the one thing he believed defined the coaches recruiting him is the level of communication that they have maintained through out the process. This clearly shows how interested in the 2020 prospect the Mountaineer coaches are and for good reason. He tallied over 1200 yards from scrimmage and 15 touchdowns a year ago.

Now that Hill has narrowed his choices, it appears he is in the process of scheduling campus visits. He has not been to Morgantown yet but says there are plans for him to visit. He also said he does not currently know when he will make his final college choice.

Stay tuned to DubVNation.com for updates on Xavier Hill’s recruiting and much more.
