WVU RB Commit Jahiem White to Hold Signing Day Ceremony on Wednesday

Running back Jahiem White has always stayed true to his commitment to West Virginia. And he will make that commitment official when he signs his national letter of intent.

White announced his plans to put pen to paper at 4 pm on Wednesday evening. He tweeted an image of himself putting on a WVU hat with “51 hours and counting” and the address of where he will be located added to the tweet.

Despite all the uncertainty surrounding the WVU football program in recent months, White claims he never wavered on wanting to become a Mountaineer.

“I made a commitment and I will honor it. WVU is home and I will be there January 7. I have built a bond with the coaches, especially Coach Scott, and my hope is that I get to continue building that bond throughout my career at WVU. The staff at WVU took a chance on me before any other Power 5 team did. I want to pay that back. Especially to Coach Scott,” White told WVSN about a month ago.

White is a three-star running back from York, Pennsylvania. Rivals ranks White as the number 11 recruit in Pennsylvania and 247 Sports regards him as the 14th best.

He also received offers from Louisville and Bowling Green and visited Penn State and Virginia Tech during his recruitment process.
