WVU vs Texas Tech Set for Noon Kick-off on ESPN2

It was announced Saturday night that the West Virginia vs Texas Tech football this Saturday will be broadcast on ESPN2.

Last week it was revealed that the game was set for a noon kick-off, but it was either going to be broadcast on ESPN2 or ESPNU.

This will be WVU’s second straight week appearing on an ESPN network. The WVU at Baylor last Thursday was broadcast ESPN.

Texas Tech comes into Morgantown with a record identical to the Mountaineers at 3-5 overall and 1-4 in the Big 12. This will be the Red Raiders’ first trip to the Mountain State since 2017 when they lost 46-35.

One of the potential recruits WVu will have in attendance for the game will be Pine-Richland senior Levi Wentz. Wentz, a high-upside cornerback, has visited Pitt and Duquesne each of the last two weeks.

Saturday will be Military Appreciation Day, Coca-Cola Family Day and a True Blue game at Mountaineer Field.
