West Virginia junior defensive lineman Dante Stills announced via Twitter Thursday afternoon that we will be returning to WVU next season.

A native of Fairmont, Stills finished the 2020 regular-season with 31 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and two sacks. He was named an All-Big 12 honorable mention on Thursday as well. Stills will return next year as a junior and will have as many as two more seasons of eligibility remaining due to the NCAA’s blanket eligibility waiver for this season.

While Dante will return to the Mountaineers, his older brother Darius has announced that he intends to turn pro following this season’s bowl game. 2021 will be the first time that Dante plays for the Mountaineers without his older brother.
