WVU Backup Quarterback Trent Jackson Enters Transfer Portal
West Virginia quarterback Trent Jackson announced on his Twitter Thursday that he has entered his name into the transfer portal.

In three seasons with the Mountaineers, Jackson has never seen the field for the Mountaineers. He redshirted in 2018 and sat behind third or fourth on WVU’s depth chart in 2019 and 2020. He passed for 2,174 yards as a senior at Kent Island High School. In his tweet, Jackson said will will have three years of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer.
