The last remaining member of the 2023-24 WVU basketball team, Ofri Naveh, intends to enter the transfer portal, his agent told Jeff Goodman Wednesday.

Naveh, a sophomore from Israel, voluntarily redshirted this season and will have three years of eligibility remaining. Naveh was the lone player to attend new WVU coach Ross Hodge’s introductory press conference last week.

Ofri Naveh was the only full-time basketball player to stay with WVU following the nine-win 2023-24 season. Football player Aden Tagaloa-Nelson also returned to the Mountaineers.

As a freshman, Naveh played in 24 games and made seven starts for WVU and interim head coach Josh Eilert. He averaged 2.6 points and 2.5 rebounds per game. He scored a career-high 11 points against Pitt.

Naveh is the latest Mountaineer to enter the transfer portal following the departure of Darian DeVries, joining Tucker DeVries, Jonathan Powell, KJ Tenner, Amani Hansberry and Sencire Harris.
