2020 Wide Receiver Commit Reese Smith Talks Official Visit

Last weekend, 2020 wide receiver commit Reese Smith of Danville, KY visited Morgantown for his first ever experience at a West Virginia football game. Smith chose the Mountaineers over offers from Kentucky, Tennessee, Cincinnati, Michigan State, Duke, Army, Ball State, Louisville, Wake Forest, and Troy back in March.

Smith said that his first WVU football game did not disappoint at all, “It was one of the craziest atmospheres I have been around. I can’t wait to play at Milan Puskar Stadium in front of 63,000 fans.”

Smith plays at Boyle County high school where his team is currently sitting at 6-0 and is heading into district play this week. Smith currently has 8 total touchdowns for the season so as well as 597 total receiving  yards.
