After a solid performance in front of the coaching staff at the WVU Showtime Camp, class of 2021 wide receiver Michael Jackson III (Las Vegas, NV) earned an offer from the Mountaineers.

Jackson said he was thrilled when learned of his offer. “I was really excited about it. I love the atmosphere here. It feels like a place I would enjoy spending my college years at. West Virginia fans are for real.” he said.

When asked about how the camp and how the entirety of the visit went he replied, “The camp went great, loved the atmosphere and definitely got to showcase my talents while also bettering my game with the help of the coaches there.” Jackson III said.

The lead recruiter for Jackson III is receivers coach Xavier Dye, who he already has a strong relationship with. “The coaching staff is great, real down to earth, seemed like you can learn something new everyday with them and just a fun group of coaches to be around.” He also added that West Virginia is “definitely going in the right direction” and is “a school I’ll be looking at for a while.”

Jackson III also holds offers from Utah, UNLV and BYU. There are no plans for a decision date, but has had conversations about making another visit to Morgantown.
