Keeping West Virginia’s current commits is just as important as adding new ones, and that’s why a 3-star commit will be back in Morgantown soon.

Jordan Jackson, who committed to WVU after his trip to the school back in March, announced on Twitter that he will be back visiting campus for an official visit this week. Jackson, listed at 5’11 and 175 pounds, is classified as a 3-star defensive back/all around athlete out of Fairfield, Ohio.

He is the brother of fellow class of 2023 commit 3-star cornerback Josiah Jackson. After responding to a tweet from a WVSN story detailing why Jahiem White and Sean Boyle are remaining committed to WVU, we reached out and talked with Josiah Jackson to learn where his head is in relation to the changes looking over the Mountaineers.

“I’m locked in because West Virginia has always been one of my dreams schools growing up, so playing for this university and state is and will always mean a lot to me regardless of coaching staff,” is what Josiah said when asked why he’s planning to stay true to his WVU commitment.

Jordan Jackson has also received offers from Akron, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Duke, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Maryland, Massachusetts, Miami (OH), Minnesota, Purdue, Ohio, Toledo and Western Michigan.
