2024 3-Star CB Raemon Mosby Receives Offer from WVU Football Program

West Virginia has been busy sending offers to high school recruits every day, but some offers stand out more than others. On Friday, one of those kind of offers went to three-star cornerback Raemon Mosby.
An Atlanta, Georgia native, Mosby (6-foot, 175 pounds) is a Westlake High School product. He tweeted about the offer, adding “blessed to receive an offer from West Virginia University” in front of the hashtag Hail WV. A the time of his tweet, WVU was the only school to offer him on the day.

Mosby is considered an athletic corner and ranked as one of the top 100 players in his class in Georgia. On3.com, ESPN, Rivals and 247 Sports all classic Mosby as a three-star recruit.
ESPN has Mosby ranked the highest, labeling him at number 60 as far as Georgia players and even at number 52 for cornerbacks in the country. Most other national outlets have Mosby more around 100 as a Georgia prospect, with On3 having him further back at 135.
Mosby was named defensive back MVP at a Rivals camp in April.

But no matter where he’s ranked, Mosby has over 20 offers, mostly from Division I schools, to choose from already. Appalachian State, Cincinnati, Duke Indiana, Louisville, Maryland, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Purdue and USF are just some of the major programs who have already offered Mosby.
