Despite not being one of his top 10 schools, West Virginia isn’t being shy about showing their interest in four-star defensive lineman Jeremiah Beaman.

Listed at 6-foot-5 and 255 pounds, Beaman posted about receiving an offer from WVU on Tuesday. This comes a month after he announced his top 10 programs, a group that did not include the Mountaineers.

Beaman, a class of 2024 recruit who attends Parker High School in Birmingham, Alabama, has Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Colorado, Georgia, Florida, Florida State, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Texas on his most up to date list of schools he’s considering.

Beaman is considered one of the top class of 2024 recruits out of Alabama. ESPN, On3.com and 247 Sports all have him within the top 10 while Rivals has him at number 16 in the state prospects. He’s also ranked as one of the top 100 overall high school players in the country.
