2024 G Daniel Tuck received an offer from West Virginia on Sunday night, making that the first Power-5 offer to the high school junior. Tuck (6-foot-4) is a 3-star prospect who currently plays at BigTyme Sports Prep Academy in Rockwall, Texas.

Tuck spoke with WV Sports Now about his most recent offer.

“It feels amazing to get an offer from West Virginia University. My recruitment has been going very good since the beginning of the summer,” he said.

West Virginia is Tuck’s fourth Division-I offer since June. Arkansas Pine-Bluff, Long Island, West Virginia and Wichita State have all extended offers recently. WVU associate head coach Larry Harrison has been in contact with Tuck and extended him his offer, he told WV Sports Now.

Tuck is combo guard that can drive into the paint and create opportunities for his teammates around him.

“My playstyle is getting a lot of buckets and getting my teammates involved doing anything to help the team win,” Tuck said.

WV Sports Now will keep you up-to-date with Tuck’s recruitment as well as the other basketball recruits.
