2025 4-Star CB/ATH Books WVU Football OV, Explains Interest in Mountaineers
A few months after placing West Virginia among his top 12, Dawayne Galloway announces he has an official visit booked to fully experience the WVU football program.
Galloway, a four-star cornerback recruit out Ohio, also opened up about what’s attracting him to West Virginia, especially since he has offers from many big brands.

And while there are many reasons why a recruit may pick one school over another, Galloway says it’s mostly about his love of WVU head coach Neal Brown and his staff that’s keeping the Mountaineers in the mix.
“Really like what coach Brown and what he’s all about,” said Galloway when asked what he loves most about the West Virginia program.
Galloway, viewed as both a cornerback and an athlete, attends Marion Franklin High School in Columbus, Ohio. Galloway scored three touchdowns and made five interceptions during his 2023 high school season. WVU sent Galloway an official offer back in September.
