A couple weeks after wrapping up one trip to Morgantown, a WVU football quarterback commit announced he booked his official visit. Class of 2025 prospect Scotty Fox revealed his future plans to be on campus for a whole weekend in a few months.

Fox (6-foot-2, 215 pounds) is scheduled to take his official visit with West Virginia from May 31-June 2. He tweeted a graphic with “who’s next?” and the #TakeMeHome hashtag on X (Twitter) to announce the news on Friday night.

The Mentor High School in Mentor, Ohio product announced his commitment to WVU after a win during the 2023 season following the game. Fox posted a graphic on social media and added “committed!!!” as the simple caption.

Fox, who initially received an offer from West Virginia back in May, has remained in steady contact with the WVU coaching staff. He even recently visited on Jan. 20.

Fox also earned offers from several other major programs, but is locking in with the Mountaineers despite having multiple seasons of high school left. Boston College, Kentucky, Indiana, Marshall, Michigan State and even the team West Virginia beat on Saturday Cincinnati are among the schools who offered Fox.
