For the second time in as many years, the WVU baseball team has produced three MLB draft picks. Midweek starter Nick Snyder has been selected in the eleventh round of the 2019 draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks.

A native of Marlton, NJ, Snyder had a break out junior season in Morgantown, dominating competition. This included a complete game one hitter at home against Marshall where he carried a no-hit bid into the ninth inning.

Snyder will join teammates Alek Manoah and Ivan Gonzalez in the professional ranks soon. His 2.65 earned run average and 103 strikeouts will be sorely missed by the program. His emergence in 2019 after a limited 2018 season has shown to have paid off with this selection.
