Alabama Commit Receives WVU Offer, Visit Next?

In February, Sandalwood (Fla.) 2020 cornerback Jahquez Robinson committed to Alabama as a severely underrated prospect. Since then, Robinson’s recruitment has caught on fire, including a recent offer from West Virginia.

“It’s a great offer and an up-and-coming school,” Robinson said.

The 6-foot-1, 174-pound now holds nearly 30 offers, including Ole Miss, Michigan, Oklahoma, Georgia, LSU and many others.

For now, Robinson is planning on taking visits and believes he will “100% be locked in somewhere” by June or July.

And though the Florida product is becoming a must-have commodity, Robinson believes head coach Neal Brown is on the rise.

“I feel like [he’s] going to take the program to a top school in the Big 12 to be able to compete with Oklahoma and Texas, but it will take time.”

And is a visit to Morgantown in Robinson’s plans?

“Most likely.”
