Big 12 Football Roundup: Texas Beats Alabama; Baylor, TTU Still Looking for First Win

Big 12 football continues to ramp up in non-conference play as many exciting games concluded on Saturday. Texas stormed into Tuscaloosa and defeated Alabama by 10 while Utah and Oregon broke the hearts of Baylor and Texas Tech. Let’s take a look at what happened around the league this weekend.

UCF and Cincinnati picked up big road wins to stay undefeated. UCF escaped an 18-16 win over Boise State with a game-winning field goal. Cincinnati went into Pittsburgh and outlasted the Panthers 27-21. UC was up 20 points in the second half but eventually stopped Pitt. Baylor and Texas Tech both led in the fourth quarters but collapses ended up with Utah defeating the Bears 20-13 and Oregon winning in Lubbock 38-30.

The Big 12 went 10-4 this weekend.
