KANSAS CITY, Mo. – As West Virginia took care of business against Kansas State, winning 73-67, WVU head coach Bob Huggins reacted to preparing for Kansas. The Mountaineers will take on No. 1-seed Kansas on Thursday afternoon.

“Can I just think about this one for a while,” Huggins said. “I mean we’ve had great games with them over the years and I think this is one of Bill [Self’s] best teams. They’re good, they’re really good.”

The Mountaineers are 0-2 against the Jayhawks this season, losing in Lawrence 85-59 and 71-58 in Morgantown. West Virginia competed well in the first half in both matchups, but eventually fell down in the second, never recovering.
