BREAKING: Derrek Pitts to enter transfer portal
For the second time in as many days, the Mountaineers will lose a member of their secondary.
According to a report from 247 Sports, safety Derrek Pitts Jr. has officially entered the transfer portal. The junior played in 19 games including two starts and projected to be one of the 11 starters come fall.
Pitts was seen on Instagram in Wilksburg with Kenny Robinson, who also entered the portal yesterday. Wilksburg is not far from Pitt, which Robinson has been tied to.
