BREAKING: Jalen Bridges Officially Enrolls at West Virginia

Just moments ago, the university sent out a press release that recent basketball commit Jalen Bridges (Fairmont, WV) has officially enrolled at WVU.

Bridges was a 2020 recruit, but was able to enroll immediately and join the program.

It is possible that he could be redshirted for the 2019-20 season. By coming into the swing of things a little late, it may take some time for Bridges to become familiar with the system, his teammates and understand his role. Although, don’t be surprised to see him pick things up rather quickly and find his way onto the floor. If that’s the case, he’s going to be a huge addition for this year’s team.

Bridges is an extremely athletic 6’8” wingman that can fill it up. “Obviously, we’re excited about Jalen joining the Mountaineer basketball program. It’s greta to have West Virginian’s who take such pride in representing our great state,” Huggins said in a statement. “Jalen brings great size to our perimeter game with a very accomplished skill level,” Huggins adds.
