Moments ago class of 2020 forward Taj Thweatt (Wildwood, NJ) announced his commitment to the Mountaineers via Twitter.

Thweatt chose West Virginia over other offers from Florida, Penn State, Temple, Rhode Island and others.

At 6’6” 200 lbs, he brings great length and can rebound the ball very well from the wing. Thweatt also can fill it up from deep, but really makes his presence driving the baseline. He runs the floor extremely well and telestrates passes before they happen.

Thweatt will join top forward Isaiah Cottrell as the 2nd member of the 2020 class.
