Fans, Media Proclaim WVU Basketball is Back After Another Big Win

WVU basketball used a big second half run as their path to another win on Friday night. And the 73-60 win over Georgetown in the Big 12-Big East Battle caused West Virginia fans to be even more excited about the recent hot streak from Darian DeVries’ team.

The win sparked a reaction from both WVU fans and even one member of the national media.

The 1-2 punch of Javon Small and Tucker DeVries has made West Virginia the surprise team in the Big 12. Mountaineers have NCAA Tournament potential in 2025. 6-2 after a win over Georgetown in Morgantown.

West Virginia dismantled 7-1 Georgetown 73-60. Javon Small put up 26 for WVU and from what I’ve seen so far, he’s a baller. The Mountaineers are 6-2.
