Former Mountaineer Quincy Wilson Hired as RB Coach at Fairmont State

Former Mountaineer Quincy Wilson now has a new coaching opportunity. Wilson has been hired as the running back coach at Fairmont State.
Wilson announced the news by quoting a tweet with Fairmont State’s upcoming 2023 schedule with the news. He spent last year as the head coach of the University of Fort Lauderdale after previously coaching at West Virginia State University (2017-2022).

“God, I thank you for your many blessings! Excited for this next chapter and to be joining Fairmont State Football as the new Rb coach!!,” Wilson said in the tweet.
A Weirton, W.Va native, Wilson stared at WVU from 1999 to 2003. He was then drafted in the seventh round of the 2004 NFL Draft. Wilson was a member of the Atlanta Falcons and Cincinnati Bengals during his NFL career.
A few weeks ago Quincy Wilson appeared on WVSN’s fan podcast Country Roads Webcast.
