Former WVU Guard, TVCS Grad Josiah Davis Commits to Tennessee Tech

Former WVU guard Josiah Davis has announced that he is committing to play at Tennessee Tech next year. Davis, a graduate of Teays Valley Christian School, made the decision on his Instagram.
Davis (6-foot-3) entered the transfer portal on March 24, leaving WVU after his freshman year. Davis appeared in six games for the Mountaineers during his lone season. The Teays Valley Christian graduate has three years of eligibility remaining.
Davis graduated high school as a 3-star prospect, helping TVCS to an NACA National Championship during his senior season.
Davis also released a statement to West Virginia.
“First of all I want to give great thanks to the man above, without him this opportunity isn’t possible, Secondly, I want to thank Mountaineer nation for bringing me in and making it feel like home, I’ll forever love you guys. Thank you to Coach Huggins and the staff at West Virginia for pushing me to be a better version of myself everyday on and off the court, but especially thank you to my brothers for always having my back through it all. With that being said, I am entering my name into the transfer portal. Once a Mountaineer, always a Mountaineer,” Davis wrote.
