Four-Star WVU Commit Nicco Marchiol Once Again Lights Up An Opposing Defense
A week after quarterbacking Hamilton High School to one of the most improbable comebacks in high school football you’ll ever see, West Virginia commit Nicco Marchiol was back at it Friday night.
Marchiol led Hamilton to a 33-15 win over Centennial High School, throwing for 248 yards and three touchdowns on 15-of-25 passing, and he rushed for another touchdown to score all four Huskies touchdowns to lead his team to a 4-0 start in Arizona Class 6-A football.
After the game, Arizona Central’s Jeremiah Sosa caught up with Marchiol.

Through four games this season, Marchiol has thrown for 899 yards and 12 touchdowns to just one interception. He’s completed 60-of-89 passes (good for 67 percent completion) and averaged 15 yards per completion. While he hasn’t shown his legs as much this season, he’s still rushed for 167 yards and another score.
