Gameday WVU vs. Virginia Tech: September 18

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – WVU Football begins its Week 3 battle against Virginia Tech later today, and it’ll be no small feat. The Mountaineers (1-1) are coming off a huge victory over Long Island 66-0. Although not a huge confidence booster based on LIU’s two previous seasons in Division I, the game allowed WVU head coach Neal Brown to test some players who otherwise might not have gotten snaps, along with evaluating a potential two-quarterback system. Will that experience be enough to defeat a 2-0 Virginia Tech team that began this season with a stunning 17-10 win over then-No. 10 North Carolina?
