Earlier this week, the NFL Network had analysts project who they believe could be potential franchise wide receivers coming out of this years NFL Draft. Former Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew chose West Virginia star Gary Jennings.

“He is a guy at 6’2″ 215 that can do everything. He reminds me of Greg Jennings coming out of Western Michigan. He’s a guy that can be a play maker and make plays for you. He’s a big physical receiver that can play in the slot, he can play outside, he can go deep but here he runs this whip route which is one of the toughest routes to run. I think this is going to be a steal if you can get your hands on him.” Jones-Drew said.

During his time at West Virginia, Jennings caught 168 balls for 2,294 yards and 17 touchdowns. He is being projected anywhere from a 2nd-4th round draft pick. The NFL Draft begins on Thursday, April 25th at 8 p.m.
