Geno Smith Throws Two Touchdowns in Germany Against Tampa Bay

During the NFL’s early Sunday morning game in Munich, Germany, former WVU quarterback Geno Smith threw for 275 yards and two touchdowns. Seattle fell to Tampa Bay, 21-16.
Trailing 21-3 mid-way through the fourth quarter, Smith led two drives that resulted in touchdowns, throwing to Tyler Lockett and Marquise Goodwin.
With Smith, another ex-Mountaineer Bruce Irvin recorded four tackles for the Seahawks on Sunday. John Denver’s Take Me Home, Country Roads was even played for the German crowd, who sang along.

Smith’s 2022 campaign has been going great as he’s recorded 2,474 passing yards with 17 touchdowns and four interceptions. Seattle currently stands with a 6-4 record looking to compete for a playoff spot in the NFC.
