In the Holler: What Made Top 2025 Edge Decide to Flip from Wisconsin to WVU Football?

Even in the midst of the roller coaster ride of the 2024 season, the WVU football program managed to win a major commitment. On Wednesday night, one of the top edge rushes in Florida announced his commitment to West Virginia, doing so just a couple weeks after withdrawing his loyalty to a Big Ten School.

So what made Wilnerson Telemaque, a 6-foot-6, 250-pound edge rusher out of Monsignor Pace High School in Miami, Fla., decide he wants to become a Mountaineer?

WV Sports Now reached out to the 2025 prospect soon after he posted about his commitment. Below is what Telemaque said about his choice to flip from Wisconsin to WVU.
