A week after signing with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent Bryce Ford-Wheaton was with his new team and in his new uniform.

The former Mountaineer, who wore number 0 at WVU, will wear number 6 in the NFL. The WVU football Twitter account posted pictures of him catching passes and working out with his teammates and other rookies on the Giants.

Despite his impressive testing numbers at the NFL Combine, especially his time in the 40-yard dash, the WVU wide receiver product was not drafted.

Bryce Ford-Wheaton, listed at 6-foot-4 and 221 pounds, was vocal about feeling he’s being disrespected by those who don’t think that much of his NFL potential. He reiterated this by saying “I know people are sleeping on me” at the NFL Combine.

It was from that point on that those previously unaware or who doubted the WVU product began noticing him. He even voiced he feels he’s done everything he can to show NFL teams what he can offer at WVU’s Pro Day.
