Neal Brown Presents WVU Football Jersey to Luke Combs at Concert in Pittsburgh

Country music star Luke Combs is a fan of the West Virginia Mountaineers? Well, he at least has a new jersey to use if he wants to show WVU some love.

Head coach Neal Brown and his family presented Combs with a WVU football jersey on Saturday while attending the star’s concert at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh. “Go, Mountaineers, right Luke Combs?,” Brown said in his post on social media with his family and Combs holding the jersey.

This clears up any confusion, or even disappointment, West Virginia fans may feel about Combs chugging a beer with Kenny Pickett when the Steelers quarterback joined him on stage to surprise the packed crowd.

It now can be confirmed that Combs, a Charlotte, North Carolina native, who also rocked a Steelers hat all day, is not also a Pitt man. Combs will find he has plenty of company among those who root for WVU and the Pittsburgh Steeles as their NFL team.
