OL Oyenmwen “Junior” Uzebu signs LOI
Offensive Tackle Oyenmwen “Junior” Uzebu (6’6” 305-lbs) from Alpharetta, Georgia committed to the Mountaineers back in July and will be enrolling into West Virginia in January.
Junior is big, but he is athletic. He has great footwork to seal off the defensive end and the quickness to get to the outside linebacker. His pass blocking is probably his strength, using his long arms to corral defensive lineman.
Although he is the youngest of the 2018 class (17), there is a good possibility he will not redshirt, adding some depth up front. He just might be versatile enough to play either tackle or guard.
Junior also had offers from, Syracuse, Maryland, Pitt and NC State.
